Low Maintenance Rear Garden

The brief on this project was to create a safe, low maintenance space to relax and unwind.

Site access was tricky, so in order to limit the amount of excavation by hand and keep within the client’s budget, we proposed a low maintenance composite deck design that worked with the lay of the land.

The split level arrangement adds interest and offers two practical zones of use. We installed a fully retained hard standing for a future garden room and replaced some boundary fencing.

To ensure the life span of the treated timber frame we used a water repellent deck tape and galvanised steel posts securely concreted into the ground.

Stainless steel and glass balustrade not only creates a safe environment but adds that sleek finishing touch.
